This year Hamm Clinic has formally launched its initiative for integrating the voices of our most impactful supporters called the Legacy + Innovation Circle. Our Legacy + Innovation Circle represents key stakeholders who will help to shape the future of Hamm Clinic. We launch it in honor of our long-time board member and supporter, Edward Hamm Sr.
Hamm Clinic is lucky to have a long history of impactful staff, Board, and trainees through the years. One supporter, Dr. Anne Gearity, shares “Hamm has been the leader for mental health care in our community. Through the annual conferences, and ongoing commitment to graduate and post graduate training, Hamm has demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical research and learning.” Having a storied history at Hamm Clinic is a tremendous strength, and our Legacy + Innovation Circle seeks to leverage that to build an even brighter future.
By participating in the Legacy + Innovation Circle, you have the benefit of sharing your experience and passion for Hamm Clinic directly with leadership to help shape our vision. Members will be invited to quarterly check-ins with the Executive Director, Angie Lewis-Dmello, to discuss updates, questions, and suggestions for our work. As the pandemic hopefully comes to a swift conclusion, we will also be planning specific events for Legacy + Innovation Society members to build connections with other alumni as well as deepen their relationship with current Hamm Clinic staff, Board and trainees.
We hope you will join us in creating a vision for Hamm Clinic that ensures all Minnesotans have access to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, high quality mental health services.
