Naomi Narvaez (she/her/ella) brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as Care Coordinator.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Saint Catherine University (2020) and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in the same field in Social Work at Augsburg University.  With over a decade of experience in home healthcare, relational care, and administration, Naomi possesses a well-rounded skillset.  Her fluency in both English and Spanish, coupled with a keen eye for detail, allows her to navigate complex systems and translate them into clear, understandable information.  This commitment to clarity fosters a deeper understanding of intricate matters, fueling Naomi’s passion for social justice, advocacy, and empowerment toward self-sufficiency.

As a Care Coordinator Naomi works to ensure that clients receive the best possible care. She works closely with clients and acts as a bridge between clients, psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. Naomi fosters a collaborative and comprehensive approach to each client’s well-being.

Naomi’s philosophy revolves around the “person-in-environment” approach, combined with deep compassion. She believes in empowering clients by encouraging their autonomy and active participation in their healing journey. This approach allows her clients to make informed decisions about their care. Naomi equips her clients with helpful tools, resources, and information to support them in their journey. She meets with clients on an as-needed basis to discuss their goals, progress, and any challenges they might face. Naomi also assists clients in accessing additional support services and community resources, such as emergency assistance, educational and employment opportunities, or programs that can help with basic living and social skills. Beyond navigating systems, Naomi offers emotional support and encouragement, becoming a true champion for her clients. Naomi is committed to serving clients and strives to create an environment where they feel heard, seen, and respected.
