Angelina McDowell LSW » Meet Our Staff

Angelina McDowell, LSW is a Clinical Social Work Intern and Trainee Therapist. She earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work at Augsburg University. She is interested in working with clients in their healing journey and believes in meeting them where they are at. Angelina encourages folks to take ownership in their healing process and build skills to empower and care for themselves.

Angelina has special interest in: Addiction, ADHD, Anger Management, Anxiety, DBT, Depression, Grief, Loss, and Transition, Mind-Body/Mindfulness, Racial/Cultural Identity, Substance Abuse, Trauma and PTSD, and working with Military Veterans, Covid-19 Frontline staff, and use of CBT.

Angelina has previous experience discharge planning with Allina Hospitals & Clinics; doing Social Work Ambulatory Care Coordination at MHealth Fairview; serving as a Cultural Navigator at Neighborhood Hub; and working as a Mental Health Practitioner at People Incorporated – Anchor House. Angelina is also an Iraq War Veteran.
