Asho Jeeni
Asho Jeeni (she/her) is an MSW clinical intern currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at Augsburg University. She previously earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree and has experience working with children, families, and individuals in school and community settings. Her professional interests include mental health, building supportive relationships, and creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She values providing culturally responsive care and recognizes the importance of understanding each client’s individual background, experiences, and perspective. Her approach to social work is person-centered and strengths-based, with an emphasis on listening to clients, meeting them where they are, and recognizing their strengths. She believes that building trust and creating a supportive environment are important parts of the therapeutic process. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for walks, trying new foods, shopping, and exploring new places. She also enjoys learning about different cultures and perspectives.
