Ayan Alinur (she/her) is a clinical trainee at Hamm Clinic. Ayan is a trilingual (English/Somali/Swahili) graduate student pursuing her Masters’ degree in Social Work. Ayan has worked in a variety of mental health settings and is looking forward to further refining her approach through Hamm’s clinical training program.

Ayan believes in creating a secure and non-judgmental space where clients can openly express themselves and be heard. By prioritizing each client’s unique experiences, needs, and cultural contexts, she aims to facilitate a therapeutic process that empowers clients to navigate challenges and work towards their personal goals. She has a strong commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for clients from diverse backgrounds and is dedicated to understanding and respecting individual experiences, cultures, and identities, fostering a sense of acceptance and validation.
