Cristina Combs , MSW, LICSW
Cristina is the Clinical Director at Hamm Clinic. She received a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Studies and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Cristina is a licensed clinical social worker who has served children, youth, adults, and families as an in-home, school-based, and outpatient therapist. Since 2011, she has provided clinical supervision to incredible therapists and has extensive experience in program development, administration, quality improvement, and program evaluation.
In therapy and in supervision, Cristina collaborates with individuals to promote healing, self-love, and life-giving connections. She attends to matters of social justice as essential components of clinical practice and values frameworks including narrative therapy, harm reduction, and liberation psychology.
In 2015, through consultation with BIPOC mentors, Cristina developed a group work model focused on building anti-racist practice and community. In partnership with a diverse group of colleagues, Cristina has developed and delivered trainings locally and nationally on anti-oppressive practice.
Cristina is humbled and honored to serve Hamm Clinic in the role of Director of Clinical Services.
