Ivy Johnson MSW, LGSW
Ivy Johnson (she/hers) is a Social Work Fellow at Hamm Clinic. Ivy received a bachelor’s degree in family social science and a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Minnesota. She provides adult therapy to individuals and groups at Hamm Clinic, while also receiving clinical training and supervision. Ivy has worked at Hamm Clinic since July 2019, and her fellowship will be completed in July 2021. Ivy’s framework for psychodynamic therapy is rooted in relational, client-centered care. Ivy approaches her work using an anti-oppressive/anti-racist lens to provide culturally-responsive and trauma-informed care. She strongly believes in the power of relationships and supporting clients as they heal and grow. Ivy has previously received training at CornerHouse – Interagency Child Abuse Evaluation Center and Andersen United Community School (Minneapolis Public Schools).
