Mina Chung
Mina Chung (they/them) is a Clinical Social Work Intern at Hamm Clinic. Mina has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia. Mina worked for a number of years as a Registered Nurse, and is currently completing a Masters in Social Work at the University of St Thomas. Mina’s approach to therapy is person-centered, empathic, and relational. They believe that all people have the capacity to heal, particularly in safe and attuned relationship, and they seek to provide a supportive space for clients to be their authentic selves, learn to navigate the difficulties in their lives, and work towards living the life they would like to live. Mina is committed to providing therapy from an anti-oppressive, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed lens. Their special interests include anxiety and mood disorders, interpersonal issues, trauma, and racial/cultural identity.
