Nancy Seger , LISW
As Interim Training Director, Nancy ensures high-quality learning experiences for graduate students in psychology and social work, psychiatry residents and Hamm Clinic staff. She is also providing vital continuity for the agency during a time of change and renewal. Nancy holds a B.A. in English from Macalester College, and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota. Most recently, Nancy served as the Forensic Services Director at CornerHouse, where she honed her skills in multidisciplinary teamwork and values-based leadership. Her previous work experience includes managing youth programs in the Near North neighborhood of Minneapolis with Pillsbury United Communities, serving as a children’s mental health case manager at Thad Wilderson & Associates in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul, and teaching high school English at a charter school located within the Lower Sioux Mdewakanton Community in southwest Minnesota. Nancy is an experienced nonprofit leader who understands that all change happens in the context of relationship. She is devoted to authentic collaboration, anti-oppressive practice and lifelong learning.
