Peter Zelles PhD, LP, ABPP
Peter A. Zelles, PhD, LP, ABPP is the Consulting Supervisor for the Psychological Testing Program at Hamm Clinic. He teaches and supervises pre-doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows in psychological testing and assessment. He also provides consultation for senior staff regarding testing. Peter earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Berkeley. He is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
Peter specializes in intellectual testing, projective and objective personality testing, including from a dynamic and trauma-informed perspective. He has extensive experience in relational, attachment-based dynamic psychotherapy, family/couples systems therapy, various cognitive and behavioral therapies. Peter has a full-time private practice in St. Paul. He is also Faculty of the Doctoral Professional Psychology Program at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, specializing in psychological assessment and psychopathology. He has practicing privileges at various Twin Cities’ hospitals. Peter was previously President of The Society for Psychoanalytic Studies in Minnesota, and was a previous member of the Governing Council of the Minnesota Psychological Association.
