Sarita is in her last year of training in a dual MSW/MPH program at the University of Minnesota. She has had experience working as a school social worker at Stonebridge World School, serving families and children who have barriers to accessing basic needs. She also has experience working as a Family Advocate at the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery. Other experiences include working at a suicide help-line, working with clients experiencing homelessness with histories of trauma on parenting interventions, and assessment of individuals who present with SPMI. Sarita is passionate about working across difference, equity, and client-centered care.
