Sean Hollebeck (he/him) is in his third year of psychiatry residency training. Sean grew up in Dallas, Texas but has also lived in Rhode Island, San Francisco, and Arizona. He attended medical school at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona.

Sean’s belief around psychiatry and mental health is that our life experiences, history, and community are all pivotal in framing who we are as a person. Sean shared a pivotal quote from one of his favorite childhood movies: “I see now that the circumstances of one’s birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.” Sean believes that by leveraging our understanding of this concept alongside deep and sincere introspection, we can grow as human beings.
