Yasmine’s psychotherapeutic interests are broad and include relational therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, existential therapy, gestalt therapy as well as couples therapy and the impacts of inter-generational trauma and life transitions. She views psychotherapy as a dynamic, collaborative, compassionate process where the exploration of one’s acute symptoms, one’s life narrative – including historical as well as current attachments and relational patterns – and longer-term goals can be better understood with the aim of enhancing insight and mobilizing some element of change that increases one’s sense of quality of life.
